Abstract
Cytoscape is an open source software platform for visualizing molecular interaction networks and biological pathways and integrating these networks with annotations, gene expression profiles and other state data. It is simple to download and use, and it has numerous applications (or plugins) which are freely available (Cytoscape App Store).
The workshop will include:
(i) a general introduction to biological networks and Cytoscape concepts
(ii) a hands-on session for data import and demonstration of a few Cytoscape apps.
No previous cytoscape knowledge or computational background is expected.
