In the Botanical Garden there is a collection of small plants, that are interesting from various reasons: some are rare, some have unique and beautiful blossoms. most of them are geophytes, with bulbs or corms, and some bloom for short period.

it is hard to display such plants in the garden sections, because they tend to "get lost": they are hidden in the view, and need high maintenance when planted in the garden beds - to protect them from competition with other plants, and from being eaten by wildlife.

In the past, these plants were simply not displayed to the public. after considering the correct way to display them, we have chose to have a new corner in the garden, where we will have changing plant species, dedicated to the geophytes and other small plants.

You are welcome to get close and look, we'll have here new surprises every time!
