The Daphna Carasso Tropical Plant Garden

This collection showcases the extraordinary biodiversity of the Earth’s warm, humid regions through the Tropical Conservatory and two specialized fern houses.

The Conservatory houses a wide array of taxonomic groups, including orchids and bromeliads, alongside specialized functional groups like carnivorous plants and mangroves. While the Conservatory building is currently closed for structural repairs, the fern houses remain open to the public. We invite you to explore these outdoor collections and discover a variety of ferns that rank among the oldest plant lineages on Earth.
