The Shmunis School of Biomedicine and Cancer Research is home to world-class research in molecular biology and biotechnology. We aim to cover basic, translational, and applied aspects of these fast-moving fields of science.

We pride ourselves on the scope of research conducted at the school. Our work ranges from the assembly of single molecules and the evolution of genes to the secrets of microbial behaviors, the molecular mechanisms of normal and aberrant human cells, and the engineering of drugs and tissues.
