Instrument details

The Synergy was acquired from Biotek. 

 

When making fluorescence determinations, the Synergy HTX uses a tungsten halogen lamp with the following filters:

Temperature range: Ambient to 50°C.

 

Excitation Filters

  • EX1=360/40

  • EX2=485/20

  • EX3=530/25

  • EX4=590/20

 

Emission Filters

  • EM1=460/40

  • EM2=525/20

  • EM3=590/35

  • EM4=645/40

 

When absorbance measurements are made, the instrument switches to a Xenon Flash Lamp and a monochromator for wavelength selection from 200 to 999 nm.
