On March 9, 2023, Tel Aviv University hosted The First Shmunis Cancer Conference.

 

The event was attended by the Shmunis School of Biomedicine and Cancer Research members and lecturers from Stanford, UT Southwestern, and UCSD. The lectures and panels discussed the latest innovations in cancer research and therapy development.

 

The convention, held at the ANU Museum, included lectures, panels, and discussions. It was led by Prof. Adit Ben Baruch (SBCR), starting with Prof. Isaac Witz accepting an award for his career achievement in cancer research.

 

Prof. Anat Herskovits, Head of SBCR: "I want to congratulate all the students who are being recognized today for their academic achievements. Your commitment to excellence is admirable, and I have no doubt that you will go on to achieve great things in your careers."

 

"As you move forward in your academic and professional careers, I encourage you to continue to strive for excellence. Always stay curious and open-minded, and never stop learning.
