Choosing the correct plate

For luminescence measurements, it is best to use white 96-well plates because they reflect the light emitted by the sample and thus magnify the signal.

If the assay requires seeding adherent cells in a 96-well plate, it is possible to use transparent-bottom white plates. This will allow monitoring the cells under a microscope.

Do not use transparent plates!
