Lior Mayo leads the Laboratory of Autoimmunity and Neuroimmunology at Tel Aviv University, where he and his team explore the intricate workings of neurological disorders like Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, and brain tumors.
By investigating the molecular and cellular roots of these neurological conditions, Dr. Mayo’s team strives to pave the way for significant medical breakthroughs (such as the innovative Foralumab).
Additionally, Dr. Mayo is the head of the graduate program of Cell Biology and Immunology at Tel Aviv University and serves as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Molecular Medicine.
