The Sas-Chen lab combines experimental and computational methodologies to investigate RNA-based mechanisms of gene regulation in health and disease. Among its interests, the lab focuses on exploring the impact of RNA modifications, non-coding RNAs, and ribosomal functions on cancer progression.

 

Dr. Sas-Chen has received the following awards:

  • FEBS Excellence Award, Federation of European Biochemical Societies, 2024.
  • The 2022 Eclipse Award for Innovation in High Throughput Biology, The RNA Society, 2022.
