Requirements for completing studies Magna Cum Laude on the thesis track:
Thesis track students will be eligible for Magna Cum Laude if they complete the Master's requirements in 5 semesters, receive a final grade of at least 90 for both their thesis and thesis defense, have a course average grade of at least 90, and have an MSc final grade that exceeds 93.
Requirements for completing studies Summa Cum Laude on the thesis track:
Thesis track students will be eligible for Summa Cum Laude if they complete the master's requirements in 5 semesters, receive a final grade of at least 95 for both their thesis and thesis defense, have a course average grade of at least 90, and have an MSc final grade that exceeds 95.
Requirements for completing studies Magna Cum Laude on the non-thesis track:
Please keep in mind that only students who submit a final project will be eligible for the Magna Cum Laude or Summa Cum Laude academic honor. Students who turned in a seminar paper will be ineligible for Magna Cum Laude or Summa Cum Laude.
Non-thesis track students who submit a final project will be eligible for Magna Cum Laude if they complete the Master's requirements within 5 semesters, obtain a final grade of at least 90 for their final project, and have an MSc final grade that exceeds 92.
