Excellence, Research, and Real Life: Faculty of Life Sciences Dean’s List Ceremony
The faculty celebrated this year's top students at a festive event featuring both academic achievements and a memorable moment in the front row.
The Faculty of Life Sciences hosted a festive ceremony this week to honor the outstanding students selected for this year's Dean's List.
The event opened with remarks from the Dean, Prof. Abdussalam Azem, who congratulated the honorees and emphasized their vital role in the future of scientific research.
A standout moment of the event occurred when Nofar Malka-Tunitsky, a PhD student in Molecular Biology, took the stage to present her work. While Nofar delivered her presentation, Dean Prof. Azem and Prof. David Sprinzak stepped in, sitting in the front row to look after her one-year-old son, Shani. The baby joined his mother on stage toward the end of her presentation, in a heartwarming moment that led into the awarding of certificates to our Dean's List honorees.
We congratulate our exceptional students and wish them continued success in their scientific journey.
