Research Interests

Our lab is developing and utilizing chemical-biology approaches to explore the mechanisms governing hormones signaling in plants. We are interested in studying these mechanisms in a comprehensive manner, from the small-molecule level, all the way to the genome. To this end, we combine techniques from multiple disciplines including organic chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology and imaging. While most of the tools we are developing are designed to address our main research questions in plants development, we keep an open mind to their broader applicability to other fields of science.
