A Special Symposium Honoring Prof. Eugene Rosenberg's 90th Birthday
Marking a milestone for one of TAU's founding scientists and beloved mentors in environmental microbiology
A festive symposium was held in celebration of Prof. Eugene Rosenberg, one of the founding members of Tel Aviv University’s Faculty of Life Sciences, marking his 90th birthday.
Prof. Rosenberg, a renowned expert in environmental microbiology, is a distinguished researcher and beloved teacher who continues to lecture at the Faculty. Throughout his illustrious career, he has led numerous groundbreaking studies and mentored countless students and researchers.
The symposium took place at the Yaglom Auditorium, Senate Building, featuring inspiring lectures by his past students, now leaders in their respective fields. The event was jointly organized by the Shmunis School of Biomedicine and Cancer Research and the Faculty of Life Sciences.
