Improving Life through Science: The Longstanding Partnership between The Argentinean Friends of TAU (AUTA) and the George S. Wise Faculty of Life Sciences

The Board of Governors is composed of Israeli and foreign members elected by the Senate of the Tel Aviv University and serves as the general assembly of the University. The assembly convenes once a year in May for a series of events that include an Honorary Degrees Conferment Ceremony, the Dan David Prize Award Ceremony, special gatherings and Symposia.

 

Every year, the Faculty of Life Sciences holds a gathering to mark the longstanding partnership between AUTA and the Faculty of Life Sciences, in the presence of Mrs. Poli Deutsch, President of The Argentinean Friends of TAU (AUTA), And with the participation of Faculty researchers and the Argentina honors program participants.

 

The Argentina honors program for Outstanding Students in the Direct PhD Track has been under way since 2008. The program is aimed at encouraging groundbreaking research and at raising a new generation of scientists. In addition, AUTA works to promote the establishment of innovative classrooms and advanced laboratories for teaching and research.
